Pulses are the nutritional seeds, that are a part of the plant family. These are grown in seeds and develop in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) identifies 11 types of pulses and mentioned the importance of pulses. They are dry beans, dry broad beans, dry peas, chickpeas, cowpeas, pigeon peas, lentils, Bambara beans, vetches, lupins, and pulses needs. However, Pulses does not include the Green peas, green beans are the two categories of greens that are treated as vegetable crops. It also eliminated the oil extraction seeds like groundnut and soybean. In addition to that there are many uses of pulses that are listed below with a different variety of pulses.

1. Chick Peas:

Kabuli is the earliest cultivated plant that has many uses. It is small in size, hard, and its diameter is less than a centimeter. Red Lentil:

The Red Lentils are mostly known for a deftly sweet flavor. Therefore, cook almost instantly and manage to become soft. Many of them are commonly used for making Lentil Soups and Lentil Stews. The importance of pulses is opposed to both green and brown lentils. Because they cook in the shortest period of time and the uses of pulses are very much high in nutrients.

Green Lentils:

Green Lentils are good to see with a glossy exterior and colorless or mottled green-brown in color. Somewhat they contain a small pepper flavor.
